Why Malro

How we differ
A few services already bolt memory onto LLMs, but most of them are essentially "summarizers that extract facts from a conversation." Malro is different in four ways.

When and where, remembered together
Time and location are baseline fields on every memory. "Tuesday lunch," "near Gangnam Station," "Kyoto last spring" — search the way humans actually recall memories.
03 Memory with a history
The past is never overwritten
Old facts are closed, not erased. You can ask "where was I working in spring 2024?" and get an answer grounded in that past moment.
04 No "remember this" prompts
Deterministic auto-capture
Capture is deterministic, not delegated to the LLM's judgment. Opt-in, and pausable per category or session.

From your accumulated memory we infer your expertise and vocabulary level, so the AI explains the same "income tax" with technical terms to an accountant and simple analogies to a schoolchild.
